Last night our Volume 7 cover star Ruby Zarsky hosted the most groundbreaking event of the year. "All Dolled Up" is the very first trans-only strip club in NYC. Those who made it through the heavenly gates of the Bushwick warehouse can consider themselves the chosen ones, because this was a one-night-only affair.

Her majesty Amanda Lepore graced the stage alongside adult industry stars Daisy Taylor, Amarilla Diosa, Dominique Silver, Blair Jirousek, and so many fresh faced darlings that are now becoming the subject of everyones obsession.

Zarsky has recently been showcasing a new series of paintings centered around the celebration of trans bodies and sexuality in all its forms. She took it one step further last night in addressing a major lack in New York's "progressive" landscape. Incase you weren't aware, strip clubs in the big apple don't hire trans women—a huge business fail if you ask us, and an even bigger culture fail considering that this city prides itself on being a bastion of queer freedom.
