Petit Mort’s founder Penelope Dario was divinely led to this conversation with painter Bridget Caramagna over a late night of tea and tarot. A Cooper Union and Yale graduate, Bridget is a masterful artist whose career explores the connection between earth and the heavenly realms. In 2010, she created a series of huge paintings inspired by photographs of Yana P. Many great artists’ work feels ahead of its time when first released to the public. These paintings may have been misunderstood a decade ago, but we think the world is finally ready to receive their message. We are honored to publish them this season along with the intimate backstory of their conception.
